So a friend and I have been running an irc network for awhile now. It's great fun, but there's something missing, you. It would mean the world to us if you'd stop by and hang out. Invite your friends, set up shop, chat and be merry.

First you're going to need an IRC client to join. Take a look at this wiki article to find one that works for you. I use mIRC. It's one of the more popular ones. Xchat is somewhat easier to use. You can also connect to irc networks from Trillian.

Once you get a client, or already have one, point it towards the server "irc.uselessirc.net". Now don't get discouraged when trying to work the client, they are all pretty easy to work. If you have any questions just yell at me and I'll try and help the best I can.

Also, if no one is around don't give up and leave, everyone might be afk, at work, sleeping or whatnot. People have really different schedules.
